Terms & conditions

Zero Gatekeeping. But We Have Rules.

Welcome to the Techgeeks ecosystem. By using our website (the "Service"), purchasing our hardware, or engaging with our platform, you are agreeing to the terms below. We’ve kept this direct and free of unnecessary legal fluff—but make no mistake, these are the binding rules of the workbench.

01. The Basics (Who We Are)

  • Entity: Techgeeks (Proprietorship)

  • Registered Address: 126, 1st Floor, Ram Nagar, Krishna Nagar, Delhi - 110051

  • State Code: 07

  • GSTIN: 07CTTPV7291L1ZE

  • Support & Contact: +91 99685 57568 | theonlytechgeeks@gmail.com

02. Intellectual Property (Our Code, Our Brand)

Unless otherwise stated, Techgeeks owns the intellectual property rights for all material on this site—from our custom PCB schematics and 3D chassis designs to our website copy and graphics.

  • You may: Access and use our resources for your own personal, educational, or prototyping use.

  • You must not: Republish, sell, rent, sub-license, or blindly duplicate our proprietary material for commercial gain without a written agreement. Don't be a copycat; build your own legacy.

03. Store Terms, Pricing & Errors

We run a fast-paced lab, and things change.

  • Accuracy: We try to be perfect, but occasionally there may be typos, inaccuracies, or omissions relating to product descriptions, pricing, or availability. We reserve the right to correct these errors and cancel orders if the information was inaccurate, even after you’ve checked out.

  • Modifications: Prices for our components and kits are subject to change without notice. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue any product (or the Service itself) at any time.

  • Refusal of Service: We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone, at any time. If an order looks like it’s placed by unauthorized resellers or scammers, we will cancel it.

04. Shipping & Delivery

We know you have code to deploy. Our standard shipping window is 5-7 business days pan-India. Once it leaves our lab, we’ll provide the tracking intel. Delays caused by courier networks, weather, or incorrect addresses provided at checkout are outside our control, but we will always assist in tracking your gear down.

05. Returns & Refunds (The "Magic Smoke" Policy)

We ship high-quality, tested hardware. Electronics are sensitive, so we rely on a foolproof system to protect both you and us.

  • The 48-Hour Window: You have exactly 48 hours from the time of delivery to report any issues, missing parts, or manufacturing defects.

  • The Golden Rule (Unboxing Video): No unboxing video, no claim. To report a missing component or transit damage, you must provide a clear, uncut unboxing video showing the sealed package being opened.

  • Consult First: Do not ship anything back without consulting us via email or WhatsApp first. We need to diagnose the issue.

  • Unused & Unmodified: To be eligible for a replacement or refund, the item must be completely unused.

  • The "Magic Smoke" Clause (User-Induced Damage): We do not cover user error. If you solder a joint incorrectly, reverse the polarity, short-circuit a board, break a chassis by forcing it, or burn out a component (releasing the "magic smoke"), we are not responsible. Refunds and replacements apply strictly to manufacturing defects.

06. User-Generated Content & Feedback (The "Flexing" Clause)

We want you to build, break, fix, repeat, and share your wins with the world.

  • Flexing: You are completely free to record and post the bots and projects you build. The Catch: If you are showcasing a Techgeeks LFR kit or using our custom carrier boards, you can tag us (@techgeeeks).

  • Feedback: If you send us ideas, suggestions, or design tweaks, you agree that we can use, edit, and publish them without restriction or compensation.

07. Third-Party Links & Optional Tools

We might link to third-party tools, open-source repositories, or external forums (like GitHub or Arduino libraries). We do not monitor or control these third-party sites. Clicking them is at your own risk. We are not liable for any harm, fried browsers, or bad code you download from external sources.

08. Prohibited Use (Don't Be That Guy)

We democratize hardware for education, innovation, and serious play. You are strictly prohibited from using our site or products:

  • For any illegal, unauthorized, or maliciously disruptive purpose.

  • To build devices intended to cause physical harm, breach security, or violate laws.

  • To upload viruses, worms, or malicious code to our website.

  • To harass, abuse, or spam other members of the Techgeeks community.

Violating these rules results in an immediate ban from our ecosystem.

09. Liability & Safety (Assumption of Risk)

We supply the raw engineering potential; you manage the chaos.

Robotics and hardware prototyping involve moving mechanical parts, soldering irons, high-current components, and Li-Po batteries. Our products are provided "as is" and "as available". By purchasing from Techgeeks, you acknowledge and assume all risks associated with building, wiring, and operating these systems.

Techgeeks, our founders, and affiliates are NOT liable for:

  • Accidental fires, battery swelling, or explosions due to improper charging or handling of Li-Po batteries.

  • Burnt fingers, physical injuries, or property damage during assembly.

  • Fried laptops or short-circuited external hardware caused by incorrect wiring.

  • Any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (including lost data or revenue) arising from your use of our service or products.

You are the engineer in charge. Respect the hardware.

10. Indemnification

If you do something reckless with our products, violate these terms, or break the law, and Techgeeks gets sued because of it, you agree to indemnify, defend, and hold us harmless. In plain English: You are responsible for covering our legal fees and damages arising from your actions.

11. Governing Law

Any disputes, claims, or legal proceedings arising from these terms or your use of Techgeeks products will be governed by the laws of India and fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Delhi.

12. The "Fail-Safe" (Severability)

If any part of these terms is deemed unlawful, void, or unenforceable by a court of law, that specific section will be severed from this agreement, and it will not affect the validity and enforceability of the remaining rules.

13. Firmware Updates (Changes to Terms)

We reserve the right to update, change, or replace any part of these terms at any time without prior notice by posting updates to our website. Your continued use of the Techgeeks website and hardware constitutes your agreement to the current rules.
